Oh no transmission shift problems
My 300TD's transmission may have finally let go after 356,000 miles. It is full of fluid, not burned. It starts as it should in 2nd, but when it shifts to 3rd it is slipping or not engaging. When I lift my foot and get it to 4th it pulls OK but if it down shifts back to 3rd I have almost to get out and push. What exactly is wrong ? What can I do, Trans-X maybe ?

Best you do a search about your problem, it sounds very standard & may adjust out.
Screw your mod in a little.

That is always the wrong choice.
I don't have my atsg book handy, but with it you could quickly determine likely causes, which could be as simple as a broken accumulator spring in the valve body. The book has a table showing which bands and clutches are active in which gear.

trans-x is for when all else fails. you may be able to suck some life out of an otherwise dead tranny with it. It saved my e320 tranny after no fluid changes for 170k miles.
