that's cool, thanks.
I'll have the car hauler ready to pick up your cars sometime next week.
I have to arrange the space for the swap though. gotta empty the shop floor to make room for your cars to fit in with room to work around them... gotta have heat for a lot of this work! I'm going to build a radiant heat pad for under the cars during the work...

I hear that. Loads of fun the last two days replacing that $100 thermostat on the Jeep diesel - parked in between the two '87's - in insulated coveralls AND a coat, and still freezing my buns off - almost wish I'd waited until I was back in SA to do it - but I was losing up to 5 mpg with that bad 'stat.

Got all the legal paperwork in hand for both cars. Now, I'm inventorying what I've got for new and used parts, and looking for any useful paperwork on both - such as the copy of the service paperwork on the red one when I had a "major" service done on it at the MB dealership in Hickory (they gave me a brand new Dodge Charger to drive for the two days it was there - SWEET!!) back in '06 after I bought it.

I've taken a tarp and draped it over a vehicle stuck a pair of step ladders in front of the car to hold the tarp up for room to work, then stick a propane radiant heater under the tarp. 10F outside, 90F inside the tarp... only problem is the moisture collects on the tarp and starts dripping on you if you work too long...

That's my car. Same interior and exterior. Are windows tinted nice and black ? Glad you got one. There's not going to be much left of my parts car when I'm done. :)

I'm glad you posted about it!!!
the ad should have said windshield is REALLY cracked!

this is the best condition wagon I've seen in a long while. better than the one I bought before! quite dirty, but totally intact! I REALLY wish it had the third row... but wow what a great car.

fee... fee... um. how about all the free advice and tech support on the site I can handle?
