I just did big maintenance on this car, injectors adjusted at 2050 psi,all filters ,oils replaced ,cover gasket ,new glow plugs, car runs nice but idle is around 560-580.It need to be around 680.How to adjust idle speed.
Oh buy the way home made injector tester works perfect. Last edited by big d; 01-12-2011 at 01:22 PM. Reason: spelling |

ELR I think. The FSM is over at benzworld for your perusal.

If you have a black rotary knob up on the left side firewall (mine is near the brake fluid reservoir) that has 7 numerical settings, try setting it up a few numbers. Each number corresponds to a 20 rpm increase or decrease. Default position on a 1986 300SDL is "4" but I don't know what other cars would use.
It may not even exist on your model. But that's where it would be and how it would work IF you have one. Knob lifts straight up to unlock, rotates, and presses back down to activate. |

Unplug the connector on the IP, see if the ELR is working at all. If not, could be the OVP, or it could be that you've accidientally knocked a wire loose.
