It's amazing how many establishments still do, though.

My experience has been the same. No issues outside of people thinking I'm at the wrong pump.

All it takes is one call to the credit card company.

Oregon will allow you to pump your own diesel if it is on its own pump, not connected with gas on the same tower thingy. An interesting note, there is a law allowing motorcycles self service.

Oh and heaven forbid the truckstops might advertise the price the truck drivers they are there for would need to pay. Having P.U.C. price listed has nothing to do with anyone's ability to price shop. That's like saying you can't price shop due to the .09 fed tax. It isn't random.
That ring helps when the tank opening is like 4 inches wide.

Our daughter lives in oregon, she told me they have attendants pump fuel, because it creates jobs. Pissed me off first time I went up there to have some jocky pumping my fuel. I did learn later on, the law doesn`t apply to Diesel fuel, and haven`t really had a problem pumping my fuel. I tell the guy the tank has a short neck, and if I don`t baby sit it, it will puke fuel on the ground before it clicks off.

First time I saw the good Diesel prices up there, I got dissapointed when i filled up and the price was higher. It is listed as the PUC price.

I have some attendants tell me when I have the Datsun, "you know you are at the Diesel Pump?" yeah, and I have been putting Diesel in it long before you were born. Or I`ll ask them, where were you in 1981?

What really get me, the same guy tells me Iam at the Diesel pump, and he told me several times before the same thing . it`s like they have never seen you before . HELLO, you in there?
