Diesel Dreamin'
I know I am not alone in this, but I suppose this goes along with the "You know you own a diesel if..." and "You know your obsessed when..." threads. I am talking about dreams and diesel Mercedes. The other night I dreamed that a neighbor was selling his 1991 silver W126 131D. Oh yeah! This car was in mint condition, but when I drove it was seriously under powered. I wonder why!? Then I woke up. It made me love my 0-60 in 15 s SD that much more that morning as I scooted off to work.

The power of diesels has been greatly under rated for a long time. now that they are starting to develop them, they easily give a gasser a run for its money.
Interestingly its not the power development that is important. Having good torque over a wide rev range is whats important. A high speed turbo diesel will always kick A$$ !!
