Seems like they have some new people there that are more cutomer service oriented. Before they had bad rep for gouging everyone. Maybe even they have been affected by the slow economy.
That was my only experience with them, maybe I just got lucky or maybe things have changed?

Thats a good price. I just paid 93.00 after tax at Firestone. I don't think they did a good job. It drives straight . But brakes squeal now. They are just close and convenient and i needed it right away. I wonder if i can get my money back?

What are signs of a bad alignment even though it drives straight? Squeaky brakes that didn't squeak before? Front tires wearing more on outside edges? You shouldn't HAVE to rotate them should you? Thats what happened to my wagon after an alignment at firestone. Damn sorry i went back but i figured how can they be bad at it? Tires and suspensions are their thing.

It was a rhetorical question

I cannot fathom what an alignment could have done to make your breaks squeak... likely it's coincidence and your breaks now need replacement.
