Relationship between turning key & starter kick in

Good Morning,

Usually when I get in my car and turn the key it doesn't go far before the starter kicks in. In the past few days I have noticed that after I have run her for awhile and get out, when I get back in I have to put more pressure on the key and turn it as far as I can before the starter will kick in. Does any one think I have a problem? Thanks.

... you mean you have to turn the key further past the #3 position into the spring loaded end of the switch? before it would begin starting when the switch was first entering the springloaded end, but now you have to turn it all the way?

Well, the starter (after she has warmed up) kicks in just before you turn the key as far as you can.
