how i change my seat covers?

is there a how to remove and change a seat cover anywhere?
i was at the junkyard and bought a seat with no rips in it, however there is no horsehair. i want to change the upholstery from my seat to the junkyard seat. is this possible? will i lose my padding? should i just deal with the rips

its my 73 220d. im assuming its the same way u do it on a 123, any info would be very helpful - thanks!

have somebody sit in the seat, then grip the lower edge at the corners and pull down. you should be able to figure it out from there. it's really simple.
the leather has a strip of cardboard sewn into it, that fits in a groove and is held in place with spring pressure from the seat.

I pull the seat, take the back rest off it, turn the base upside down, kneal down to compress the springs. then pull up on the MB Tex from the groove that VSTECH mentioned. you will have to cut off the Hog Rings that attach the white fabric to the foam cushion.
