Concerned running a w123? No. Triple-check maintenance and have a dedicated travel kit for support in the vehicle? Definitely.

These deer that can walk on water should be reported.

Never crossed my mind; I just forgot to check your location. I'm so used to lakes down here that even when the surface freezes, they NEVER freeze hard enough to support any weight. I knew about frozen lakes but have never seen one in person, and so they weren't the first thought in my mind.

An inch at the top frozen is all we EVER see, typically. Two at the most in the coldest regions in the most record-breaking cold winters.

Yeah, when we lived on Lake Michigan, it was great to walk out on the frozen lakes, through ice-caves, amazing formations the crashing waves make as they freeze, ... for miles out. On the smaller adjacent lake they used to have ice-races.
