That is a non turbo car. That makes it about the most perfect all around car design I know of... a beautiful wagon, four speed manual .... wish I were in the market and closer to them... If my first wagon had been legit manual I would still have it...

Wow, cedar lake MI. Can you say redneck wvo hippie? Our 300D came from that vicinity of the state, and the guy was.....interesting to say the least. Lived in the middle of nowhere in the pine trees with his mail order bride.....thankfully he knew nothing of MB's and diesels.....and let it go cheap and had not messed anything up on it yet.

Seat sure is a funny color. I would not get a non turbo unless it was a 240. Then I dont think I could drive a 240TD either.

If I could find one like that in pristine condition I would be interested. This one looks a tad rusty.

Clarification... I was not referring to this car necessarily...... I did not go look at it...
I was talking about my view of perfect DESIGN... the wagons are so beautiful , the auto trans the weak spot over the life of our early 80's longevity.... the factory putting a manual into a wagon.. hard to beat...
