Interesting note:

The chain-reinforced "square" unit based on that link is p/n 107-492-00-44 (about $9.25 ea).



The standard square unit I got was 124-492-00-44 (about $2.50 ea) - see above for image.

But the two look hugely different, yet the rest of the part number is identical except for first 3 digits for chassis #.

I tried the aftermarket version of those "chain-reinforced" hangers and they are actually reinforced with twisted strand wire. I discovered this because the wire ripped out of the hanger during the install process. Unfortunately, I chose to cut off the previous hangers to remove them and ruined them in the process. The old hangers were OE and in hindsight, probably would have never failed. The OE versions definitely have an internal chain (not a wire), or at least the ones I removed did and I assume the current ones would too for $9. Anyway, my point is simply that if you feel you want the chain reinforced ones, get the OE version and not an aftermarket version.
