Question What can you do with diesel mixed with mainly gas?

A small junk yard owner told that I can take some fuel home. These are all diesel and gas mix, mainly gas, as the worker just dump the fuel into a 55 gallon drum.

Any suggestions as to how to use it?

yeesh...
do you plan on VO mixing it? diesel (especially winter diesel) cannot handle gasoline easily...
I'd put it in a gasser, and expect it to run poorly...
there are those that will mix it 60/40 with WVO/SVO and drive that way...

How about a waste oil heater, might have to dilute to make it less gassy. I'm guessing that the fuel is going to be more gas than diesel, since a majority of the vehicles on the road are gas. So it could have far more gas than diesel.

Get rid of evidence?

Kidding. But the un-eco-friendly way would be to use it as the started to a helluva bonfire.

Spray on weeds . . . pour down your favorite yellow jaclets hole . . . fire makes both more FUN!

Use to clean parts . . . (Don't use fire!)

Indeed if you like to mix it with vegetable oil it'll be great at 10% to 15% and should be OK

Do Not use it in a waste oil heater, not unless you really want some excitement....

Add small amounts say 10-20% in most any gas engine. I would not have taken any.

Next time get the guy to keep the petrol & diesel separate.
The petrol makes it a problem in a furnace as it burns too quick, may go bang!
In a gasser car it will run poor as there is diesel in it.
In a diesel motor any amount of petrol is to be avoided. If you run WVO, your motor is on the way out so who cares.
It will do a good job of killing weeds. Dont get caught, its probably against some rule.

I use it along with just a little recycled motor oil to start the burn piles with. I hate to waste fat lighter for starting them up. I've been cleaning out the blueberry patch over the past month or so and have had a burn pile about once or twice a week since starting. Got a few tons of fire wood (oak) if anyone needs some you are more than welcome to come load it up.

If you have trees or brush which you need to kill you can mix it with ' Remedy '.... one gallon of that with four gallons of your oil and gas... then paint on near the base ... do not spray on leaves since many plants are smart enough to drop their leaves and wait till the next season to show you they are still alive... you want to do a ' basal Stem treatment' meaning brush all around the trunk a few inches off the ground ( not enough for runoff) and do about a foot of the trunk.. this is only for ' smooth' trunks... typically young mesquite and such... after they get older ... you need to drill or make some cuts to the sap carrying layer .... don't cut all the way around.. you want to tree to live and the sap to move this stuff .. and best done either fall or spring so the sap will carry it to the rest of the plant...
