Exclamation 1980 w116 flex disc job. shaft won't come out

All the bolts came out easy enough. Pried river from metal and slid shaft forward
It is still not far enough to come of dif. Am i missing something? Yes center support is unbolted as well.

Not sure what you mean by 'pried river from metal'. The one time I did this I had to use a pry bar with a fair amount of pressure to get that back flex disc free. Did you loosen the large nut at the joint in the shaft?

You need to loosen that big nut in the middle (not remove). It is a comression nut. Once it's slackened, you should be able to compress that shaft and should be able to work the river easily.
