Leaking Rack Position Sensor
Hi all,
In my quest to eliminate leaks on my 1993 300d, I found one at the rack position sensor. I searched and found a post with a similar question but no responses. I also read that it can't be fixed without rebuilding the injector pump. Is that even possible? I am very reluctant to start wrenching on anything plastic without knowing what is going on. Thanks! That should be leaking lube oil if it is leaking (black).

And so the wire for the plug pulls straight up and the sensor screws out?
(Plastic parts like to blow up in my hands).\ Thanks! Andrew |
