Heater coolant motor ohms?
My heat wouldn't come on this morning. Normally that would make me happy as I haven't still nailed down why it's on too often and keeps the car too warm and flip flops bewteen heat and AC when the AC is on. But it was actually cold and I couldn't get any heat whatsoever, tried the defrost and the car only got really cold in a hurry.
I ohmed out the ambient, interior sensors, look good, the dial, looks good. Then I put the ohm meter on that little circulating motor next to to servo and got infinant resistance. I figured the motor was shot. After starting it, the heat is back on. Maybe a bad phase in the motor? Is there and ohm spec for this? Any other ideas, the blower motor wasn't on either which is weird, I would think if it was trying to warm the car, the blower would be on even if the coolant isn't flowing. Thanks, Frank.
