300d mileage

I just bought a 1992 300d that seems to be running good. The gas gauge is a little wonky below half way so It is hard to determine whats left in the tank. What kind of mileage should I expect from a tankful.

I routinely get 30MPG (combined HWY and City) (Last fill up was 30.5MPG) I usually fill up around 450 miles or so 15 gallons.

30 is pretty good number for me too....and I have two of them. I could maybe see 31-32 on a nice highway trip. Around town, in winter it can drop to as low as 24. I've some some who get higher....must be my driving habists.
