Gauges gone wild

Need some help here. My Guages have a mind of their own.

Everything has been fine with all my gauges and all working well. I started the 87 300TD after a Mercedes meet-up in Chapel Hill today to find all my needle pegged DOWN when the car is running. Then I noticed when I took my foot off the brake pedal all the needle popped up. Brake pedal down needles fall.....all the way home

The thing is that when the needle goes back up when I release the brake, including the rpms, they are not gong to the right spot. oil pessure goes to 1 bar, water temp very low and RPM guage sometimes stays down.

Not sure if any of you have heard of this happening? It's got to be an electrial issues, or ground, but how and from where?? Soooo strange!!

I looked under the hood and did not see any loose wires or wires touching metal.....
HELP PLEASE - I hate electrical issues!!

Sounds like a bad earth to the instruments or OVP relay problems.

Been looking and looking, but can't figure it out. Would a corroded or cracked fuse do this??
Bump
