or is it a better way to lube rubber parts of sliding windows?

If you're talking about lube on the rubber seals, I'm not sure what product to recommend. I would think plain silicone spray would get messy and attract dust and dirt. I've seen reviews and ads for "dry lube" like the 3 in 1 product here: 3-IN-ONE Dry Lubricant Spray | High Performance PTFE Lube for rubber parts. If you're in Europe I don't know if that's available.

I recall from my time in Germany they used to sell a two-part kit that was supposed to be a door-seal lube. It had a spray and a powder and was recommended for use to prevent the rubber and the door from freezing together. I never tried that though and it may be more like a rubber "dressing" than an actual lube to reduce friction.

yes,the second product you mentioned I have and use,..it is more
suitable for winter than as a lube (it lubes for 10 min though...)
