Idiot light between battery and brake light?

What is the funny looking idiot light between the brake light and battery light? Looks like a sun symbol sort of....

burned out light indicator or parking brake. Not brake fluid level light.
Mistery green light.

If it's orange then it's probably the brake pad indicator. Would help a bit if you mentioned the car, I'm assuming 240d.

its the front brake pad wear indicator. Check your front brake pads..
