Rubber bumper guard

I noticed the front rubber bumper guard on my 85 300D is starting to come off. What should I use to keep it held down?

You may be able to simply bang it back on.

It is attached (popped on) to two plastic pieces (1tem #63) slotted into the bumper. Each one of those two pieces move independently, I held them in place with kite string while I banged it on after feeding the ends into each side piece.

I did this on my rear bumper, there is a thread with pics here somewhere.

I need to have a tutorial on how to search the forums. I know there are others out there who have had similar problems to what I'm facing, and it's just annoying and redundant for several threads to exist stating the same thing. I'll start looking for it.

the rubber has guides that hold the bumper on when it's held one direction or the other. it has to be held on, while the outer trim holds it in place... the grooves in the bumper are slots that you push the guides into the locked position.

I find the best way is to open another tab (or window) in my browser and then use google.

Use the following search format =>

site:peachparts.com

For example:-

rubber bumper site:peachparts.com

magic bus site:peachparts.com

I want my mom site:peachparts.com
