87' 300 TDT in need of a couple parts.

Where can I find affordable and or used parts for this thing? I'm coming up short.
I need a drivers side motor mount bracket and a fan blade. If I bought these new, they would cost me an arm and a leg. Just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. Thanks

I'm glad to see you are back on the prowl. It must seem kinda strange to someone that is new to the forum to have a guy with NO Mercedes correcting their consonant usage.

Even when I'm in my stupid Acura, if I pull up at a light behind a wagon, I can tell explicitly what the correct nomenclature is!!

Fantastic....you guys are very helpful. I'm really not here to argue or be corrected, especially when you know exactly what vehicle I'm talking about.

Pardon the grammar police here, it's just in good fun.

I do have a pair of engine mount arms left over from my '87 300TDT engine swap, but already sold the fan.

Used ones do show up.

The other option is the '99 E300TD fan (it's a sedan, but an extra shot across Jimmy's bow is always fun), it is a plastic fan that is apparantly much cheaper and a direct swap.

The good thing about the rogue T bantering? It keeps your thread at the top!

it's not a direct swap.
the leading edge of each blade needs to be trimmed, or it will hit the intake elbow.
lemme know what you need. I've got plenty of 124 stuff.

It's going to be local salvage yards, ebay, or even craigslist once in a while. If you have specific parts, many us on the forum may have them....like Jeff above. Many body and enging parts are direct fit from a sedan which is really helpful. The front 3/4 of the body and many interior parts can be taken from w124's up to 1995.

Yes - the TDT thing is a joke around here, nothing personal....I got the same initial shaft.
