126 coolant fill tank repair possible?

Has anyone done a repair that held? Are new tanks available anywhere?

The hoses in and out of the tank you can change easily. I would not repair the tank but buy a new one as they are cheap and there are many places that sell new tanks for your car including this site.

Thanks, I didn't think anyone would still make the tanks. I'll order one.

It may be possible on flat or slightly curve surface.

It is not cheap for SDL.

I repaired my 300SDL fill tank. It is a 126 chassis but is different from the gasser. I cut some transparent plastic sheet ( those used for packaging ) and glue it with JB Weld. You need to roughen up the bonding surfaces with sand paper first. It has been a year now and it is still holding well.

2x. The expansion tank is not something I would try to fix. Too risky.
