If this is plugged or capped off = you are pressurizing the crankcase = the pressure will find the weakest seal to escape.
You might want to give that theory a little more thought. Or better define the meaning of "this."

my photo of the engine "as is" was on the other post I had relating to this problem. (sorry). Hopefully, it will show up here. The pcv tube is feeding into the breather pipe about 6" in front of the turbo. the turbo tube is where it's supposed to be. There is no drain tube anymore, because there is no housing. Because I am selling this car, and it worked great up till the time Andreas broke down in Illinois, and the fact that I don't have the spare money to invest in something that I will no longer own soon, I will not look for or buy an original air filter housing. (Even though I will tell the buyer that he might want to). Anyway, the oil is draining into the pre-turbo air filter pipe, and some of it's leaking out before it gets into the turbo (at a joint in the 3" intake pipe). The turbo is clean. The original turbo oil drain pipe is working and is now open, and probably was before. I don't know whether there is still a check valve in the other opening or not yet. It has a rubber cap, but it's not tight.
