W123 Crumple zone at work

Very cool. You can really see where the stiffer occupant cage starts. I wonder what speed that impact occurred at?

It was big and fast, but I bet all the doors open and close perfectly. My 240D took a healthy rear end, put a big fold in the deck lid, not much other damage past the taillights.

what were they asking for it? with the wheel covers, probably a 240 or a early 300D.

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.

I can tell you that 40mph from behind in a wagon will lock up the doors if you're hit off center.
