i loved the Scouts... my dad had one when i was growing up... too bad it rusted away

Thanks for the info on the oil. I'll probably start another thread this weekend when I attack the problem. I went to the dealership yesterday and I've got two keys coming for $34.

The Nissan SD33 was available from 1976 to 1979 in the Scout II, and the SD33T was available in 1980 only, which was the last year of production for the Scout II, and the end of light-line operations at International Harvester.
