I'm a fan of the latter...
You already have good Hoses. Some day they may leak but that is a long ways off.

The Heat Exchanger idea funola suggested would work but they cost more than an accessory Oil Cooler does and when they go bad you get a mix of Coolant and Oil.

decided to run one of these from Earl's:

Oil Thermostat and some line routing/cleaning are all that remain for this issue
