Ive owned 3 of these little 2.2 diesel 190s ,just cant beat the mileage these little guys give you and the timeless body lines of the 190 layout.The one Im holding onto has a auto attached to the 2.2 and a body package like the cosworth version.
Im hoping to hear more about your car as it gets nearer to its freshened up engine install ,sounds like a great project.

Im on hold now, I need new flywheel bolts. Has anybody ever put a anaerobic flange sealant to put the vacuum pump on? Will that work?

Anerobic Sealants ONLY set up in the Total abscence of Oxygen

The Gap between the Machined Parting Surfaces of the T.C. and the V.P.
WILL prevent the Loctite 574 (573's weaker bonding) And/Or MB 001 989 89 20 10 from working.
