these didn't come with synthetic CHF style synthetic P/S fluid, right? owners manual says "mercedes-benz power steering fluid". fluid in the reservoir looks to be plain dirty old conventional stuff.

What color is the cap? I'd think by 98 mercedes would have been using at least CHF 7.1, if not 11S.
