Been working on mine. Use the correct kind of paper clip. Do not use a small one. The diameter of the metal is too small to pull down the dog completely. Don't use a paper clip with a plastic coating. Too big to slip into the hole in the dog. Use a large silver metal paper clip. If you shine a flashlight into the ignition cylinder and you get your head in the right position, you can see the hole the paper clip needs to slide into. Push it completely in. The pushing motion pushes against a ramped hole which pulls the dog down. Good luck

As I remember your spoz too bevel the end of you paper clip something like 70 degrees, I did this job last fall.

The perfect tool for this is one of those skewer things that come on a piece of carboard and string used to sew up the turkey a TG-time. Tapered and everything.
