Kind of a silly question, I am going to remove the sunroof motor to examine the gear, but I can't seem to figure out how to remove the guide tube clips.

actually, the issue is at the sunroof motor in the trunk, there are 2 guide tubes leading into & out of the motor which are attached to the motor with these clips, I wasjust curious as to how to remove those clips, seems like can just pry them off, but don't wanna risk any damage.

'84 300D. I want to replace the gear in the sunroof motor. I have the guide tube clips off. My problem is that I cannot get the tubes disconnected from the motor. I have turned the rear tube 360 degrees while pulling but it will not release. What is the correct procedure?
