Jep....actually already did a search on the Autotrader for another car in the DFW area.

Maybe I'll find one in Houston and have Bill grill the owner for me

I can't thank you guys enough for what you were willing to do for me. It's good to know I've found a place with a great bunch of guys to talk with about my future MB

If there's ever the opportunity for me to return the favor...just ask!

There's an 82 300D in the Dallas Morning News for ~$4000-$4500

suppose to be in excellent condition (key word: suppose)

want me to call the guy and check it out?

Alan,

for the 123's, I'm wanting to keep it at '84-'85 models.
The 126's I'd go back to '83 if it were in good enough shape.

Also wanting to stay under 200K mi. unless it's some kind of special case car, ie, rebuilt and documented, etc.

Thanks tho

Ahh, gotcha

I'll keep a look out for cars that fit that description (although that mile thing will be hard to come by)
