If I need to engage the phone, I pick it up from the console.
I have bluetooth to my radio and a head set. I would never want my phone mounted to the steering wheel. On the other hand, if there was a battery powered attachment for the steering wheel enabling me to answer, hang up, mute the phone while talking via bluetooth, that would be helpful. I appreciate your creativity, but that solution would not be one I would seek. Thanks for sharing funola ! See your mascot is still nervous as a goldfish in a feeding frenzy.

Do you know anyone who's gotten a ticket holding the phone talking while driving? My friend's girlfriend got one. All it takes is a cop to see you at a stop light or on the highway and pull you over. It's a matter of time before your turn comes up. I have no worry of that.

Well, clicking means either the touchscreen or the buttons. If you do not have it mounted, you are holding the phone in your hand. If a cop sees you, you can be ticketed.
