97 E300 EGR Codes

Ok I have tried the fixes I have found relating to EGR codes on the 606 engine, the EGR valve is opening and the flap closing but I am still getting the codes. I have checked and replaced vacuum hoses too I am at a loss....any suggestions??

What codes?

I had a nightmare of a time chasing down the cause of a P0200 on my 97 E300D. I replaced all vac lines, cleaned flappers, confirmed proper operation, but still got the code.

I discovered that a wire was intermittent on the micro switch of the crossover pipe flapper. Repaired the connection and I was good to go.

Yea I had that on the flapper valves however I have been chasing P0400 EGR flow codes for some time now. As stated I replaced both vacuum transducers and cleaned EGR, flapper, and any other valve and still get the code. I need to check continuity on the connector at the EGR valve to make sure none of the wires at the connector are broken internally. other than that I am at a loss. I guess its off to the indy shop.

When I would disconnect the vac line between IM and the transducer on the driver's side fenderwall, I would immediately get a P0400.

Something to look at.
