My Cruise Control Works!!!!
I finally got around to testing all of my cruise control amps (10 of 'em) and, wouldn't you know it, the last one I tried worked flawlessly. It's about a 1/2 inch longer and has a different number than the others so my hopes were not high (ie wrong car?). I'm not complaining though because it works SWEET!
If I was right-handed, it would have been the first one I picked It figures.... I also replaced my upper control arms, front torsion bar mount bushings, got an alignment and put my new Michelins on. So, it should be a lot easier to sleep on my way to Portland and back each week Happy Friday

Got mine fixed too! Replaced four capacitors. Got it "fixed" a couple times last fall by just re-soldering, then it went 100% dead. Finally got around to replacing parts versus re-soldering.
Now I just have to remember I have it. I keep forgetting!

Congrats! How did you come by 10 amps?
And landyacht, how did you decipher which parts to replace in the amp. I'd like to give my tach amp a go. |
