Driver door unable to lock with key
The driver door unable to look with key. I can feel it at the point it is supposed to ketch, but it slips by it. The passenger door is able to look and lock all doors in the process, but who whats to do that every time lol.
Could it be the key or cylinder or? |

When this happened to me, my tech told me that the most cost-effective solution was to switch the locks...which is what I did. A bit of a pain, but at least I'm able to open the driver door.

Do you now have to carry a key for the door and your regular ignition key.. or were you able to ' sync ' them ?

I have to use two keys, but not because of swap. When I had the tumbler replaced, I got a new key.

I have had no lock and unlock on my drivers door.
I had the tumbler out to clean around 3 months prior. The roll pin that secures the shaft to barrel had backed out so barrel just spun when turned with next to no resistance. |

When I go to replace the drivers side door panel soon I will take it out and try to clean it. Is there a tear down guide to taking the cylinder apart?
