I help out one of my friends who has a 2000 Jetta VR6. She always forgets to check the oil, she's run it out once... at least she knows to turn it off when the oil light comes on! I just installed a new ignition coil on it last week, and found it was over a quart low

Thanks for the giggle Tyler

I bought the car in my sig from some lesbians. Sadly, neither was 21, nor were they anywhere close to "hot"

I taught my daughters how to check their oil and tranny fluid, air in their tires, etc. I doubt that they do it now, but they know how. It's refreshing to meet people who don't allow themselves to be pigeon-holed into societal stereotypes.

You're just comfortable with both gays and diesel mercedes, and when they have major automotive problems, they end up finding you through friends.

Your perception is just skewed because all those people out there with diesel mercedes who are not having problems are not calling you.

When I was working (police officer), I had a partner who was a lesbian. She rode to work every day on a Harley with a side car. She wouldn't be caught dead in a Subaru and hated Gloria Estaban and Anne Murray. She was a trip! Now I am as old school and conservative as they come, but I gotta say she was a good cop and a great partner, no...the BEST partner, and I am not ashamed to admit that she has remained a close friend over the years. I learned something about myself in dealing with our relationship...it went from "I can't believe they are pairing me up with this person!!" to "Gosh, I miss seeing you everyday now that we are both retired and have moved on." Life's funny, ain't it?

She could wrench on that Harley too, boy!

Being Gay has nothing to do with taking care of a car. In fact I know a gay couple who restores Mercedes. They sold me the Ponton. The only difference between them and other guys I know who are into cars is that their cars were always show room clean... as far as stereotypes go, I have to say thats a positive not a negative!

Now girls with cars is a whole different story. A girl I knew and was friends with refused to listen to me about having bald tires. later she slid off the road and wrecked her car (1985 300D) Since it was a 123 I told her to call Garrett (Dieselkraut23) because I knew he had a spare fender and other body parts she needed... she refused to do that also. Last night I learned she sold the car and the new owner found Garretts business card in the car and called him... guess whos getting a new fender... the new owner... Just makes me sick.

I've found that the only thing more manly than a straight man, is a lesbian (the "male" of the pair). This was pointed out to me by a gay friend.

The Mrs just read this thread. She laughed & then said that there are too many people in the world that always try & categorize others.
The 2 behaviors, being a lesbian & checking the oil have no connection.
Too many little boys fantasizing she thinks.
Is there some new porn clip on some XXX site about this?
BTW she has no lesbian tendencies & always checks the oil/water/tires.
