Lesbian girls and 1980 300Ds

Ok this is just too weird to not post.

So i have a lesbian customer that has an 1980 300D......i have been telling her watch the oil and it does burn a lil bit, but over all a very healthy engine.

Last week she calls be cause she has a lock knocking sound....a few mins later bam seized engine with no oil. she hadn't checked it for over 3weeks!

Today my friend gave me contact info for one of his friends as she (lesbian) is havent a problem with her car. Guess what she was driving her 1980 300D and it just stopped.......guess what guys? NO oil!

What do these girls have in common? They are both 21yrs old both, both live downtown, both are lesbian, both are very hot and HAD running 1980 300Ds.

BOTH killed them from not checking the oil.

I have nothing against any gays of any kind i am just stating sexuality because of the funny luck.

There are just so many potential responses........
Where to start....

As far as association, Subaru has the lesbian factor sewn up
Google "Subaru" and "lesbian"....

In the last 9 or 10 years I have bought several manual 240Ds that young female drivers have toasted by running them out of oil.

likely they are the feminine variant of lesbian... and had little in the way of a mechanic role model growing up.

I know WAAAAAAAAAAY more guys and straight women that destroy their cars in this manner than any other type of owner.

one of my refrigeration customers bought a 1984 chevrolet corvette new from the factory, and his idea of keeping it original included the original oil filter, oil, tires, everything... he informed me of this as it passed the 90,000 mile mark...

I know a lesbian couple who both drive GMC pickups. One of them also has a 1971 VW Super Beetle.

When I was in Afghanistan, I left my '71 in the care of a friend of mine who happens to be gay. Before I left, I told him that the transmission leaked, so he should check the fluid frequently. About halfway through deployment I got an email to the effect that the transmission wasn't shifting. He stopped driving the car and just ran the engine every so often. When I went to pick the car up, I found that the transmission was three quarts low on transmission fluid. This prompted the most quotable thing I've ever heard him say, "I'm a gay musician. Don't leave your cars with gay musicians."

On analysis by the transmission shop, it turns out being run out of fluid actually had nothing to do with the failure. Part of the governor assembly failed-1500 miles after a rebuild.

I ran a 600 slip marina in a strongly-gay town. Gay/lesbian comes in many shapes and sizes, some mechanically astute, some completely helpless, just like straight people.

I sure did hear a lot of funny jokes though, being the token straight guy and all.

I don't expect that there are many 21 year old girls that check their own oil regardless of their sexual orientation.

Wow. Let's hope vintage Mercedes don't catch any more widely with twentysomething lesbians.

Between ill-conceived WVO experimentation and them, they'll be even fewer decent 123s left....

Generalizations can be generalized but specifically applied, or held up to a person, they are myths. I have plenty of gay friends, lived and worked closely with a few. For every datum that fits 'men on film' there's one that doesn't.

Tyler's is the best tho.

If it can't go 3 weeks w/o oil, it's using more than a little oil.
