Power seat reclines back but not forward?

This is on my 87 124. So is this just a dirty switch or is there something wrong with the seat motor?

I had the same thing happen in my '90 W126 recently. I got some electrical contact cleaner and sprayed it in there and that took care of it. Once in a while we get off easy. I'd give that a try first.

Thumbs up

Same thing was going on with my SD, just sprayed some cleaner in there and luckily my stuff started working again.

Until then, set the memory with the back up so that you can move it up after reclining.
