ABS Light no Tach...OVP already Replaced

I know there are allot of threads on this topic, but I can't find one with my specific issue.

I replaced my OVP a couple days ago...and my tach started working again...all was good, but then today I was driving and the ABS light came on, and the tach stopped working, then the ABS light went off and the tach came back....and so on.....Sometimes the ABS light will not come on at all and the tach works great, but when it does come on, the tach quits.
Any ideas?

This is on my 95 E300D

That's not it....I been thru the whole cluster and all the grounds are intact. Is there anyway I can disable the ABS so it will stop turning on the light? Don't need ABS.

Sure sounds like the OVP relay (again). How's your wire harness?

hhhhhmmmmm, you might be right...I pulled the OVP relay and put the old one back in....and voila, the tach was working....then it quit....so I put the new OVP relay in and, it worked again and no ABS light, but I haven't driven it yet.....might be something in the harness near the OVP.....guess I'll have to strip it back and see if I can find it.

the alternator voltage regulator can casue the ABS light to come on and tacho to stop too. I had that in my 300D.

Check if it not worn out.
