Not sure what the big deal is but, okay, from now on Jimmy will please understand my shorthand for my 87 300TD Turbo will be 87 300TD T.

Capisce?

By the way...is the ignore in 1-800-ingorehimandhewillgoaway purposefully misspelled?

If you have the time;

Clean and lube the wiper motor assembly,

Clean and lube the latch and pull-down motor assembly.

I'll make the time for whatever would be a good idea.

Is it a pretty straightforward job and do I use the "Gesundheit" (sunroof) paste?

I haven't done it, but have them both hanging from the hatch right now (busy botching a re-tint job on the hatch).

I did pull a hatch pull-down from a 210 wagon Saturday, same assembly w/ different plug it appears.

LOL!

I watched the Youtube video in your sig of the shift points. So you rev up to 3000 before you release the brake pedal and start the clock?

I stepped on the gas to get some boost, it surprised me a bit as the wheels started to spin and the car got sideways (speedo at 20 in the video) so I got off the gas to save the new Michelins as I released the brake. Not a scientific nor accurate 0-60 type run but I'm not going to reproduce it as it's probably hard on the flex-joints and other bits which are currently stock size.

I like the car too much to abuse it, as we used to say about European cars though: the fun starts in 2nd gear.

I'm not sure I'd part with it, ... mine works fine but I've heard the replacement price is $$$.

If my eyeball comparison is correct, you can look for a 210 wagon as well as a 124 (provided you take a few inches of wiring with the assembly).
