Can I Plug Yellow Vacuum Lines?

I was wondering if I could plug the two yellow vacuum lines going into the cab. From what I read they are for the door locks. The plain yellow goes to door locks and the yellow with a stripe goes to resivor tank in the back. The green one is for climate control and brown one is the shut off. Is that right? Will plugging these yellow lines just affect the door locks? Thanks

I thought all the yellow lines controlled AIRBAG, and should not be touched unless you really know what you're doing. Whatever you do, don't blow into them.

84 W123 300D doesn`t have Air Bags. Unless there is a female riding with you .

Blocking off the yellow lines will not cause any harm. why not just fix the problem? Get a Mity-Vac and chase down the vacuun leak.

yep, likely its the jammed up fuel door actuator that ruptures and leaks, it was the same for both of my cars.

on most modern cars, Yellow ELECTRICAL connectors are for airbags.
they will usually have red or black locking clips keeping them connected.

ALWAYS read your repair manual before working on ANYTHING electrical on cars equipped with airbags.

they can kill you.

Just to be clear, if you're trying to stop vac leaks, you'll shouldn't plug the lines themselves. You'll need to plug the supply from the main vac line to the yellow lines.

Same with keyboards. It's best not to touch them if you don't know what you are doing.

I plan on chasing down the leaks later on but I have tranny issues now and I just want to seal it off to narrow it down. I got the mityvac and its awesome. I am just kinda scared of chasing the leaks cause it seems like its one after another all the time, lol. Once the tranny is better I will find out whats wrong though. Thanks for the advice guys.
