Starting a few months ago,the climate control unit woudn't respond - technically the fan doesn't always come on, but I could hear hissing and parts moving inside the dash. If I move the temp dial to warm (or cool) appropriate temperature air comes out, just not blowing out. Funny thing is that in addition to no fan, my srs light comes on. Sometimes all I have to do is turn the climate control unit OFF, and wait five minutes or so. When I turn on the fan and the a/c, things operate like normal. Air blows cold when its supposed to. Since this started, I cleaned the ground connections at and near the battery. I replaced the CCU with a remanufactured unit. When that didn't solve the problem, I replaced the Klima with a new one from the dealer. When I got the car at 110,000 miles, one of the first things I did was replace the wiring harness. I'm starting to think that there is an issue with the fan motor. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

check the 30 amp blower fuse strip outside the fuse box - its probably blown or cracked. Mine did that too - I replaced it worked without missing a beat ever since. - But I cannot see how the SRS unit is tied with blower operation, unless it shares something with the OVP (which I doubt) or some other fuse in the fuse box

Sounds like an OVP relay problem. It is nested behind the battery and has a fuse on top, the relay contacts are likely failing (common problem). Is the tachometer affected (usually is)?

I know. Its wierd. Tach is not affected at all. Fuel and temp gauges flip around once in a while. Will check the ovp fuse contacts. Good suggestion. Thanks.
