Lug bolts
I just found a really nice set of alloys for my 1985 300td, however they are from a 1985 SD, I understand they will fit the car no problem, but i am wondering if they require a different lug bolt since they are slighty wider 6 vs 6.5, thanks.

Lug bolts are the same. The wheel is only wider in the flange area and not where it mounts to the rotor. Check the ET of the wheels to make sure it almost the same so the centerline of the wheel is about the same. The ET is cast into the wheel on the inside near one of the 15 holes.
