If I run a jumper wire to the grey wire, the passenger backrest goes back through operation of the switch. Jump the brown wire, and the backrest goes forward through operation of the switch. So, it appears that both the switch and the motor work, but when everything is wired appropriately, I get nothing out of the backrest, and all other functions(tilt, forward, back) work fine. For some reason power is getting to all other motors but the backrest. Could it have something to do with the fact that I replaced the original switch with an aftermarket that has the headrest adjustment? I left the two wires for the headrest unconnected to anything, but maybe they complete the circuit for the backrest. I sprayed Deoxit on all of the connections. I'm stumped on this.
