Any pictures of a 1 coil rear cut?

Can't decide about a 1 or 1.5 coil cut.

Any pictures appreciated of a 1 or 1.5 coil rear cut.

# coils front and # nub donuts info appreciated.

If you're talking about a W123:-

Which springs are best?

And follow the links in the thread to loads more information.

Can you state the type of car next time please? Or stick some vehicle information in your signature?

Thanks but i did not see any pics there of a one coil rear cut.

My information was listed, but probably an administrator took it down. It said have a 300CD with only 14K miles, invented a seat cover for side air bags, and drove off road back in the day.

Here is a thread from superturbodiesel, I think you are registered there also. didn`t you have a thread running a while back on this same subject?

Sorry I wasn't clear enough - in the link I posted there's another one - this one:-

Suspension springs interchangeability

This lists information for standard springs that have different lengths.

Otherwise there's this current thread that might be of interest

WTB: Performance springs for W123

Not the answer you're looking for => but a little to the left.

Army, 240Benz, Charmalu

Thanks for the links and pics.

I am cutting my springs 2 coils in the front and 1.5 in the rear.

Kmac accentric bushings rear, new Bilstein HDs and OEM Oil Pan Protector installed.

Been working on this project a long while. Did a paint correction (took the old outer layer of paint off, to expose the brighter paint, and redyed the black trim and removed the badging to make it easier to polish.

Also had to buy one nub donuts and fix a window element. So got distracted.

Got to put the wheels and tires on and the outside will be done.

oh yeah have to put the badges on.

Pictures please! It sounds interesting... are you setting up your suspension yourself or is someone else doing that? (I'm interested in self alignment methods you see => How I adjusted the toe in / out, camber and caster on my W123 300D)

ditto on the pics. I eventually want to make mine an AMG replica, I even plane to make an AMG OM617 valve cover

on the springs, there may still be some lowering spring sets floating around out there. I bought a set a few years ago for my coupe and lowered it 2"

An AMG replica is possible. rear spoiler, front spoiler, paint the chrome. AMG wheels.

wanted to go lower than 54 mm or 2 inches. Enough to eliminate the wheel gaps. only custom springs can do that. i think the mb springs are high quality and if cut, still are high quality. Will have to see after project is done. Will post pictures when the exterior project is done.
