OK to use "A/C" with compressor removed?

Im removing my compressor tomorrow as mine is leaking oil, lots of it... Is it OK for me to use my AC as a fan with my compressor removed? What setting should I use, or does it not matter?

Gonna be a fun summer here in Phoenix...

Should not cause you any issues to run it like that.

I have run for years with the comp belt missing. I normally disconnect the clutch wires as well. So basically its disconnected. The cabin fan will just run as though you are running the heater or just fresh air.

why? you have a vent position on the ccu...
but yeah, it should not cause any issues.
however, if you are removing the compressor, be sure and securely seal the manifold. I'd bolt a piece of wood, or plastic to the fittings, and tape over it well with good duct tape.
