Cool. I'll wait for a nice hot day, and do some testing to show what difference in performance it makes to clean clean looking coils, make the fans run faster, etc.

The later R134a systems on the 124 had a different condensor, compressor, and fans.

Not trying to hijack..

Could all that "stuff" be swapped over to an older 124? Does the V8 have a larger cooling capacity?

The compressor looks like it mounts the same but at a slightly different angle, I believe that all could swap/fit (was looking close myself at the same swap).

I know the wagons are at a slight disadvantage,,, but the 400e was blowing ice cubes!

I like to actually have a chill while driving in 90+ degree heat and humidity. Guess it's cause I am not allowed to keep the house a/c that cold . It's on 77

another good reason I "acquired" my 95TE... if only the guy who wants the M104 will deliver the funds for it!!! I CANNOT wait to upgrade everything to the maximum capabilities of the 124 chassis!
