nahh, I don't think so... I think Jesus would gather the entire earth at once. all time zones at the same instant. he's not like santa claus... he's Omnipotent and all powerfull.

Predicting the apocalypse incorrectly has been a hobby of Christians ever since Jesus told his disciples it would happen within a generation. (Matthew 24:34) So Harold Camping was in good company, at least.

what about the part in the bible where it says all who claim to predict the time of the rapture will be incorrect? something about the signs will tell the end of days are near, but none will know the time in advance...

Yeah, my understanding was always that we weren't to know when it would happen. I think that was the belief taught in the church I grew up in.
