Some one said in OD (with reference to some report) that it would happen progressively all around the world.
I guess it would happen all at once if they believed the world was flat !!!

Just remember that the only way to kill a zombie is to drive a stake through its heart. Hope you have plenty of garden stakes there ready!!!

We had steak for dinner. I wonder if that counts?

If something BAD happened now. Say something that just stopped civilization in it's tracks.

And say that the last motor vehicle (Petro IC) to ever run on planet earth managed to stay running for the next several years, decades, whatever and then suffered a failure that silenced it FOREVER.

What car would it be?

it's past 6:00 in california too... maybe hawaii time?

Predicting the apocalypse incorrectly has been a hobby of Christians ever since Jesus told his disciples it would happen within a generation. (Matthew 24:34) So Harold Camping was in good company, at least.

what about the part in the bible where it says all who claim to predict the time of the rapture will be incorrect? something about the signs will tell the end of days are near, but none will know the time in advance...

Yeah, my understanding was always that we weren't to know when it would happen. I think that was the belief taught in the church I grew up in.

oh, my beliefs are deep... good thing I'm mostly into repairing things. If I get to preaching, I'm kinda boring.

Ha, I just spent a pot of money betting that it's going be my baby blue 240D with the rebuilt engine! Every time I stop in at Bearing Service I ask whether he's built any more W123 engines... nope, so far I'm the last.
