Removing sunroof guide tubes?
 

'84 300D. I want to replace the gear in the sunroof motor. I have the guide tube clips off. My problem is that I cannot get the tubes disconnected from the motor. I have turned the rear tube 360 degrees while pulling but it will not release. What is the correct procedure?
